Recent Changes in Companies House Filing Fees
Effective from 1st May, there has been an increase in fees associated with Companies House filings. All services offered by Companies House will see increased fees including incorporation, name changes, submission of confirmation statements, company re-registration, and others.
The cost of incorporating a business digitally will see an increased fee of £50 versus the previous fee of £12, same day registrations will now cost £78. The fee for digitally submitting an annual confirmation statement will undergo a significant increase, rising from £13 to £34.
Speaking on the fee increases a Companies House spokesperson said:
“We’re amending our fees to bring them in line with the costs of providing our services but also to recover the costs of our new powers being introduced through the Economic Crime and Corporate Transparency Act.
This will enable the cost of investigative and enforcement activities that promote the integrity of the register, maintain a healthy business environment and combat economic crime, to be met through fees.”
