What I do at Langricks
As I am actively studying towards my ACA qualification I am lucky enough to be exposed to a wide variety of accounting duties at Langricks, bsaed out of their Wilmslow office. This mainly involves preparing year end accounts and monthly management accounts for clients with many of them wanting VAT returns each quarter. Along with all of this I deal with daily queries and correspondence, and I am learning new skills and knowledge every day.
Life before Langricks
Previous to Langricks, I worked for 4 and a half years at a firm of accountants in Stafford, where I successfully became AAT qualified. This was the route I took straight after finishing my A-Levels. From an early age I worked on the family farm where I assisted in a wide range of duties.
Life outside of Langricks
Out of work I play for my local rugby club, Stoke. I have played rugby since the age of 5 and I commit to training twice a week and play each Saturday during the season. I am fortunate enough to have become extremely close to my fellow team players and they form a large part of my social life. I also like to train in the gym as I regard fitness and health extremely important but also class this as my ‘down’ time after work.
