What I do at Langricks
I am mainly involved in the preparation of year-end accounts for limited companies and preparing their corporation tax returns. On a daily basis I am also responsible for the company secretarial duties for the many companies we act for, liaising with clients and ensuring all information is up to date with Companies House. Being part of the audit team means I get to visit clients around the country, dealing with different people and companies from different industries you would not have imagined existed before. I am based in the Holmfirth office.
Life before Langricks
After graduating from the University of Manchester, I started my training with a firm in Surrey where I trained and gained exposure to various aspects of accounting, including audit, corporate and personal tax, VAT and payroll. After completing my ACA qualification I was able to move back North and joined a practice in Leeds and eventually joined Michael Bell & Co in April 2014.
Life outside Langricks
Outside of work you can find me in the gym, in particular on the treadmill working on my cardio. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends in Manchester which has now become known as my second home. My other passion is supporting my football club but less said about them the better.
