What I do at Langricks
I joined Langricks in July 2022, part time, straight after I finished my A Levels. I then began full time work in the office in September. Alongside gaining my AAT Level 3 qualification at First Intuition in Manchester, I get on the job experience through general bookkeeping duties and VAT returns. When the office is busy, I also assist our client manager, Emma, with any admin duties or tasks.
Life before Langricks
In advance of securing an apprenticeship at Langricks I spent 2 years at Aquinas College studying towards my A Levels in Accounting, Business and Economics. From age 16 I began living independently while working part-time at a family run café in Marple. This is where I learnt the value of building strong relationships with not only my colleagues but also regular customers. By living independently at such a young age, I learnt the necessity of managing money very quickly. This is what essentially inspired me to begin my accountancy career.
Life outside of Langricks
My friends and family are extremely important to me so I attempt to spend as much quality time with them as possible. This includes cooking, going out to eat, taking my nieces to their favourite park, games nights or going for drinks. Moreover, I really enjoy going to the gym to keep a well-balanced lifestyle. My house bunny, Kenzo, is also a very important part of my life.
