What I do at Langricks
After finishing my degree at university, I started at Langricks in March 2020. I am currently working towards achieving my professional qualification through ICAEW at Icount in Manchester. My role at Langricks is to prepare management accounts and year end accounts for clients as well as preparing VAT returns.
Life before Langricks
As mentioned previously, before starting at Langricks I attended Edge Hill University in Ormskirk where I studied Accounting as my degree. During my time at university I worked in a home caring for residents diagnosed with mental illnesses. This was a challenging job but rewarding nonetheless. I had a variety of jobs throughout the home, some of those being; nursing, cleaning and preparing meals.
Life outside of Langricks
Outside of work I spend a lot of time with my family and friends. I tend to cook a lot for them as I love to try new recipes and food. Due to many of my friends living far away from me I tend to travel a lot across the country to see them when I can. Time is mostly spent socialising, shopping and eating out with them.
