What I do at Langricks
I joined the company in 1998, I am responsible for the day to day management of a selection of clients including Audit clients, and managing staff to ensure that deadlines are met. I also undertake preparing and reviewing accounts for companies, partnerships including Limited Liability partnerships and sole traders, corporation tax returns, capital allowances claims, Research and Development allowances, and management accounts. I also am involved with small businesses through to large company audits.
Life before Langricks
I began my accountancy career on a full time course at Huddersfield University, and in 1996 I obtained a position at Bell Moorby Accountants & KW Howarth in Huddersfield and Halifax, where I started my ACCA studies, which I completed while at Michael Bell & Co in 2000 which is when I qualified with the Chartered Institute of Certified Accountants.
Life outside of Langricks
I play football weekly and I am a keen road cyclist and mountain biker when I get a chance. However most of my time is currently spent with the family.
